Dungannon council approves spending for Coalisland projects

Councillors have agreed to spend £1,600 on improvement work at two projects in the Coalisland area.

Dungannon council will spend £600 on new road signage for the Coalisland Community Centre.

And £1,000 will be spent at Washingbay Wetlands Park to replace 300m of boundary fencing, preventing livestock from accessing the site.

The wetlands park expenditure includes the cost of materials and hire of equipment.

The spending was discussed and approved by councillors at a meeting of Dungannon council’s strategic service delivery committee on March 27.
