Street bonfire blaze in centre of Coalisland

A bonfire blazed in the centre of Coalisland late last night after bags of rubbish and metal were set alight in the middle of the street.

Metal wiring, a gate and bags of rubbish were clumped by a kerb at the Lineside this morning as the clean-up operation began.

The bonfire was reported to police shortly after 3.20am (on Wednesday July 13). Officers have appealed for information on the street blaze.

Anyone with information can call the PSNI on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
