Last week’s lotto numbers were 11, 16, 20 and 24. There were no jackpot winners. One matched three numbers; Sean Hughes. Next week’s jackpot is £525.
The U16s continued their good start to the season with a good win against Eglish. The O’Rahilly’s came from four points down at half time to beat Eglish by four points. Eoin Teague [2-4], Kevin Duffin [1-2] and Paul O’Neill [1-1] were among the O’Rahilly’s top scorers with Sean Timlin at full back, Paul O’Neill in midfield and Fintan McClure and Ryan Morrow all playing well.
The minors started their league campaign with a good win against Donaghmore. The O’Rahilly’s came from two points down at half time to win on a score line of 2-12 to 1-8 after a brilliant second-half performance. Star of the show for the O’Rahillys was Danny McNulty who notched up 2-6, Daryl Magee landed four points with Brian Morgan and Eamon Duffin among their best players on the night.
The U14s girls’ team got their season off to a good start last Saturday with good performances in the feile. The girls managed to the knockouts of the feile which will be played at a later date. Training for the girls continue this week at the same time.
The U14s continue training on Wednesday night at 7pm sharp.
Well done to Daniel McNulty, Declan McClure and Daryl Magee in playing a big part in Holy Trinity College Cookstown All Ireland Semi Final win. The club would like to wish them all the best in nexts week All Ireland Final.
The Gaelic Start finished last Saturday. Over the 10 weeks 63 children took part. It will start again in November. The club would like to thank all who help in making it a great success.
Last man standing continues this weekend, anyone still left in it is asked to get there teams into Gary Coney by Friday evening.
The U8 and U10s continue training on Sunday at 11.30am. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Clothes can still be left at the club for the cash to clothes until this Saturday.
The dart tournament that place last Saturday was a huge success. With nearly a hundred throwers chasing the big prize the competition lasted well into the evening. The final came down to our local home town hero Mickey Mansell, who took on Brendan Dolan. After a titanic struggle the visitor just edge out our local hero. The club would to Mickey Mansell for organising it and the following businesses who sponsors it; Gareth and Liam Nesson, Kevin Devlin, Kevin Taggart Finbar Hughes, Door step restaurant, HTC Plumbing, Clonoe Social Club, Fergal McQuaid and Mickey McVeigh.
The club would like to extend sympathy to the Donnelly familt Glen on their recent sad bereavement.
