Coalisland firm McCloskey International fined £35,000 over employee injury

Engineering company McCloskey International has been fined £35,000 after an employee suffered head injuries at work.

The employee was hit on the side of the head last year by a piece of metal, which flew out of the machine he was using to bend it.

The worker has returned to work on a part-time basis and has made a reasonably good recovery, Dungannon Crown Court was told.

McCloskey International, based in Coalisland, was also ordered to pay costs.
