Wrecking Ball – GAA style! Derrytresk footballer dons thick make-up and skimpy outfit in spoof Miley Cyrus video

A Derrytresk GAA player has spoofed US pop star Miley Cyrus in a hilarious YouTube video.

Ronan O’Neill is seen caked in make-up as he mimes the words of the singer’s music video Wrecking Ball.

The midfielder also drops his Derrytresk jersey in favour of a white vest top, rolled-up shorts and brown boots – similar to the skimpy outfit worn by Cyrus in the original music video.

In the parody video O’Neill mimics Cyrus by striking a number of sultry slow-motion poses while holding aloft a sledgehammer.

But instead of a wrecking ball, the 26-year-old finds a much more comfortable spherical object to mount – a red fitness ball.

O’Neill has previously helped launch a GAA campaign on road safety at Derrytresk GAC.

However, the club was forced to call off the event after angry residents threatened to protest over the PSNI’s involvement in the meeting.
