£132K employment scheme for Coalisland and Dungannon

Coalisland and Dungannon are to receive funding of more than £132,000 for an Economic and Employability programme, the Northern Ireland Executive have announced.

This project was developed by the Dungannon and Coalisland Economic and Employability Sub Committee.

The group included STEP, South West College, Dungannon West, Coalisland Training Services. This project will bring significant benefit to the Social Enterprises already operating within the NRAs

Social Development Minister Nelson McCausland said: “This is great news for the people of Coalisland and Dungannon and will provide real and significant benefits for residents in the Neighbourhood Renewal Area.

“This programme is a good example of both partnerships working together collaboratively to meet the needs of residents. It is hoped that best practice will be shared between all areas within Western Division.”
