EVENTS

St Mary’s Community Sports Hall: Gymnastics – Mondays between 4pm and 5pm for primary school pupils, and from 5pm to 6pm for older pupils. Yoga Classes are on Tuesdays from 7.30 pm. Stewartstown Harps under age boys’ training takes place on Fridays from 6pm to 7pm for under 6 years, from 7pm to 8pm for under 8 years and between 8pm and 9pm for under 10s.

Speech and drama classes are held on Thursdays at CRAIC Theatre. Call or text Cliodhna McAleer on 0759 650 3153 for details.

The Eagles Special Olympics Club in Coalisland will hold a training event on Thursday, January 11 at Primate Dixon Primary School.

Coalisland Training Services Ltd are continuing to run classes in first aid, level two food safety and CSR. Call 8774 8512 for more information.

Coalisland Learn and Leisure: New classes will resume in the week beginning Monday, January 9. Phone Ethna on 8774 0951 for details:

January 10: Sewing, from 10am to noon, and from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
January 11: Painting, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
January 12: Crochet and knitting, from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Craft Class from 2pm to  4pm.
January 13: Patchwork and upholstery, from 10am to noon. 

St Joseph’s College, Coalisland, adult education programme:

January 12: Adult ICT for Beginners, from 7.15pm to 8.45pm.
January 12: Eight-week adult first aid course, from 7pm to 9pm.
January 12: Adult keep fit, at 7pm. At present all places are taken.

NOTICES

St Mary’s Primary School:  If your son/daughter turns four on or before July 1, 2012, you need to complete an enrolment form to apply for a school place. Enrolment forms are available from the school office, 8773 8388 or log on to the school website at www.stmarysstewartstown.com  with applications to be returned before January 18, 2012.

St Vincent De Paul Society wish to advise people that Fuel Saving Stamps are now available from the Springisland Supermarket.  The stamps cost £5 each, and they are an excellent way of budgeting towards the cost of heating oil.  They can be placed on a stamp card and are redeemed by most fuel oil suppliers.
