Lotto
In the weekly lotto fundraising draw no one matched all four numbers and winning the Jackpot. But four members matched 3 numbers and they were Erin Graham, Mary Morgan, Jarlath Mc Cann and Kevin Mc Crory. The numbers drawn were 1, 3, 5 and 10. Next weeks lotto will be £650. Anyone wishing to avail of the Annual or six monthly Lotto scheme can contact Johnny Gillen or any Committee member to get the Lotto plan set up.
2011 Membership
Membership for the incoming year is rapidly drawing to a close, with Sunday 27th March the deadline. No membership can be accepted after this deadline as the list of members is sent digitally to Croke Park and cannot be amended once this has been done. It is essential that all players have their membership paid before this date, failing to do so will prevent them from playing football for the incoming year, all non-playing members too are encouraged to renew their membership. Also by becoming a member, you are showing your commitment to Brackaville Owen Roes and are permitted to participate fully in the workings of our club. If you know anyone who is interested in becoming a member of a GAA club, bring them along with you to register, as new members are always welcome. Membership can be paid to club registrars’ Johnny Gillen and Paul Barrett in the social club every Sunday evening between 9pm and £10. Membership for the year is priced at £20 per person, £30 per couple and £10 for Senior Citizens.

Congratulations to Owen Roe Og Rían McHugh on being awarded a college All-Star for his consistent performances with St Joseph’s College. However, commiserations to Ronan Fox, Dwayne McKenna and Rían on their exit of the All-Ireland series with St Joseph’s at the weekend; although they bowed out at the semi-final, the lads still have a lot to be proud of, having been crowned Ulster Champions. Best of Luck to Sean Corr and St Patrick’s Academy in the Mc Crory Cup Final in Armagh on Wednesday. Anyone who wishes to receive the Breac an Bhile notes via e-mail or have anything that they want to include in the notes can do so by emailing me [email protected] . The Owen Roe Og Disco was a huge success and was thoroughly enjoyed by all of our young Gaels that attended and I’m sure it wont be the last night out for the Owen Roe Og’s.
