Events and notices from Clonoe O’Rahilly’s GFC.

Last week’s lotto numbers were 4, 14, 18 and 21. There were no jackpot winners. Two matched three numbers – Gerard McClure and Donal Campbell. Next week’s jackpot is £1,875.

The U16s started their league campaign on Saturday against Stewartstown. The Rahillys were missing a few regulars and the teams were level at half time.  But the O’Rahillys turned on the style in the second half to win by seven. Shane Donnelly and Paul O’Neill were strong in midfield, Conor McLaughlin played well up front as did Eoin Teague who bagged a couple of goals. The U16s continue their league campaign this Saturday with a game against Pomeroy. Watch local press for details.

The 2012 youth registration night will be held on Thurday, March 8 at 7:30pm in the Clonoe Social club. The itinerary for the night is as follows:  Presentation to parents, coaches and players followed by player registration. Note: youth registration fee is £5 per player.

Membership for the upcoming year is now due. It is £20 and it can given to Joe O’Neill or Enda Shields. Please note this is the last week you can give membership so get it in now.

Clonoe Youth will be running a Cash for Clubs fundraiser. Please fill as many bags with unwanted clothes, shoes, towels, sheets, etc. Bags will be given out through the schools and at training. The collection day will be March 31 at the club. Times to be confirmed.

Last man standing continues this weekend. Anyone still left in it is asked to get there teams into Gary Coney by Friday evening.

The girls’ U14s and U16s continue training on a Tuesday night. All girls are asked to be on time and to bring their own water bottle.

Minor and U16 training continues on Monday and Thursday night at 7.15pm.

Gaelic start continues on Saturday from 1pm to 2pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Anyone over 18 interested in taking part in this years Rahooley please contact Shane McCann 07900995516. Training is due to commence in the next few weeks.

There will be a darts tournament in the Community Centre on March 31. There will be a big prize on the day to the winner of £550 along with some high-profile names attending. Anyone looking to sponsor a board can you please contact Mickey Mansell, Aidan McVeigh or Kevin Devlin.
