Clonoe O’Rahilly’s GFC notes

Events and notices from Clonoe O’Rahilly’s GFC.

Last week’s lotto numbers were 16, 20, 22 and 24. There were no jackpot winners. One matched three numbers – Eugene Lyttle. Next week’s jackpot is £575.

The seniors started their league campaign with a convincing home win against Kildress. Fielding without a few regulars, it took us a while to get into our stride but once we found our stride we overcame a spirited Kildress side.

The reserves started their defence of the league  title with a convincing home win.

Next up for the seniors and reserves is Omagh. Watch local press for details.

Well done to our two players Cassie McClure and Naomi Donnelly who were apart of the successful Tyrone U14 team last weekend.

The U14 girls started their league campaign last Monday night against Newtownstewart. After a cagey start the girls finally found their rhythm and ran out convincing winners in the end. There were great performances from Lucy O’Neill, Sinead Hanna, Alicia Coyle and Orla Gavin. This week the U14s girls are out in the final of the feile on Thursday night. We would like to wish them all the best in their quest for silverware. The U12s girls had a great week as well winning their first two league games against Stewartstown and Dungannon. Training for the U14 and U16s girls continues on Tuesday night at 6pm sharp. Training for the U8 and U10s girls continues on Sunday morning from 11.30am to 12.30pm and all girls are asked to bring a £1 to training.

The U14s boys were out last week in the feile. The boys performed well and were just short in their quest to get through to the latter stages. The U14s boys have a game this Tuesday night and are asked to be at the club for 6pm sharp.

There is a minor match this Tuesday night away to Dungannon. Watch local press for details.

On Saturday the club will host an U8 blitz. All help is asked to be there from 10am onwards.

The U10s continue training on Sunday at 11.30am. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Anyone interested in helping out the club at games by doing umpire or lines person can they please contact Cathal Campbell.

Zumba classes will begin in the club on Tuesday 17 April at 7pm and all are welcome to attend.
