Events and notices from Clonoe O’Rahilly’s GFC.

Last week’s lotto numbers were 4, 6, 9 and 10. There were no jackpot winners. Four matched three numbers –  Brenda Corr, Carmel Kanana, Seanna O’Neill and Owen Corr. Next week’s jackpot is £600.

The seniors kept up their 100% home record with a hard fought victory over a spirited Omagh team. Played in dreadful conditions, the Rahillys had to fight tooth and nail and it was only in the last few minutes that victory was secure.

The reserves fielded short a number of regulars showed great spirit to earn a draw. This leaves both teams undefeated so far in the league.

The U16s continued their good season with a convincing home win against Stewartstown. The club would like to congratulate Sean Timlin, Sean Cullen, Connor McLaughlin, Ryan Morrow, Fintan McClure and Coahlim Donnelly who made the Tyrone U15 team and well done to Rhys Quinn on making the Tyrone U16 team.

The minors  turned on the style to beat Dungannon 6-11 to 3-7 away from home. Danny McNulty top scored for the O’Rahillys with an impressive 3-6 to his name, Eamon Duffin got 1-2 with Peter Donnelly and Daryl McGee grabbing 1-1 each while Aaron Elliot was their other scorer. Duffin, Elliot, Brian Morgan, Diarmuid Corr, Shane Donnelly and Kevin Lynch were to the fore for the Rahillys.

The U14s girls were out in the feile last Thursday night in Drumragh. Up against a strong Aghyaran team the young Rahillys ladies showed terrific heart and courage in a fantastic game. After a slow first half the girls came roaring back in the second half but their comeback wasn’t to be as Aghyaran got the last few score. On the night the Clonoe stars were Louise Fitzgerald, Eaodaoin McKeever and Shannon Donnelly. The u14s girls were back out on Sunday with a home match against Badoney. After a great performance the girls ran out easy winners.  Training for the U14 and U16s girls continues on Tuesday night at 6pm sharp.

Training for the U8 and U10s girls continues on Sunday morning from 11.30am to 12.30pm and all girls are asked to bring £1 to training.

The U14 boys continue training this week on Tuesday night at 7pm at the dog track.

The U10s continue training on Sunday at 11.30am. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Clonoe gloves are now in stock and can be bought from the Clonoe shop on a Friday night.

Anyone interested in helping out the club at games by doing umpire or lines person can they please contact Cathal Campbell.

How well do you know your better half? The club are organizing a Mr and Mrs competition. Anyone interested are asked to give their name to Kevin Devlin or Aidan McVeigh. The winner of this competition will receive a surprise break (from their other half) sponsored by Kevin Devlin. So all use maidens that think use know your partner come down and get involved.

Zumba classes will continue in the club on Tuesday nights at  6.30pm and all are welcome to attend.

Sympathy is extended to the Coney family on their recent bereavement.
