13th March 2012 | By: Coalisland Post | Comments Off on Coalisland town centre plot with ‘commercial potential’ on sale for £100KA lucrative strip of land in Coalisland town centre worth £100,000 has gone on the market.
The 0.45-acre site opposite Springisland Supermarket, described as having “commercial development potential”, will be up for grabs for another few weeks before a buyer is confirmed.
An offer of £60,000 has already been made for the lucrative site.
Stephen Deyermond, of estate agents TDK, said: “The site has been on the market for about four weeks. We have an offer of £60,000 on the site at present. We will market it for another three to four weeks and see what the top offer is.”
He added: “As far as we are aware the site has no planning consent. Given its location we think it is suitable for commercial uses such as a local business units and small retail units.”
The TDK advert says: “Located in the town centre of Coalisland adjacent to the Main Street and square retail locations, this prime commercial site is in a prominent town centre location.”
The strip of land sits between two areas of new business activity in the town.
On one side of the site, Springisland Supermarket has submitted plans to open its own in-store off-licence.
Meanwhile, proposals to build a brand new grocery superstore continue to be discussed for the opposite side of the land.
