EVENTS

Cairde Ui Neill Irish-language classes for beginners and intermediate level are held every Monday, between 7pm and 9pm, at Gaelscoil.

Gymnastics for primary school-aged pupils will be held at St Mary’s Community Sports Hall every Monday between 4pm and 5pm, and between 5pm and 6pm for older pupils. Yoga Classes are held every Tuesday from 7.30 p.m.

Coalisland Training Services are to hold an ECDL class from Tuesday, November 8 between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. A few places remaining.  Contact 8774 8512.  Other classes continuing to run are First Aid, Level II Food Safety and CSR.

Primate Dixon PS Extended Schools Programme (Coalisland, Clonoe, Stewartstown):  Six-week exercise class continues in the school on Wednesday, November 9, from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. All adults welcome. Classes free.

Creative writing classes continue at CRAIC Theatre on Wednesdays. The classes are being taken by published author, Fiona Cassidy.

Adult keep fit classes continue in the sports hall, St Joseph’s College, every Thursday, from 7pm to 9 pm. The classes are free. Phone 8774 0510.  Limited numbers.

Irish dance classes with teacher Damian O’Neill are held every Friday at 4.30pm in CRAIC Theatre.

All Souls Night will be held at CRAIC Theatre on Friday, November 11 at 8pm.

Coalisland Learn and Leisure Association are to hold an annual Art & Craft Exhibition and Sale in the Cornmill on Friday, November 11 from 10am to 6pm, and on Saturday, November 12 from 10am to 4pm. Admission is £2, which includes free raffle and refreshments.

If you have a baby aged between five weeks and six months (not crawling), why not book a place in afour-week baby massage session. Classes in Brackaville Club begin on Saturday, November 12 between, 10.30am and 11.30am. Limited places.  Contact Clare Fox on 07765 942 393 for details.

A Ceili will be held in Clonoe Community Centre on Saturday, November 12 from 9.30pm to 12.30am. Admission is £5, which will include tea and supper. Music on the night will be provided by the Ardmore Ceili Band.

A charity quiz and disco will be held on Saturday, November 12 in Dan’s Bar, Stewartstown. Proceeds in aid of CORE Counselling. For further information contact Sinead on 07796 277 362.

A Republican Youth Weekend is to take place in Coalisland from Friday, November 11 to Sunday, November 13.

 

NOTICES

St Vincent De Paul Society wish to advise people that Fuel Saving Stamps are now available from the Springisland Supermarket.  The stamps cost £5 each, and they are an excellent way of budgeting towards the cost of heating oil.  They can be placed on a stamp card and are redeemed by most fuel oil suppliers.

The popular six-week Dramaphonics course will return this month.  Help your child improve their literary skills through drama and poetry.  Contact Michelle on 07845 577 907.

The LiLAC charity shop is open in Western House weekdays from 10am to 4pm.  Why not donate good-quality clothes, books, good quality furniture and household items?
