More street trading areas planned for Coalisland

Shopping in Coalisland could soon receive a boost as parts of the town are set to be licensed to allow street trading.

A section of the Coalisland Enterprise Centre, Canal Park, and a strip of land at the Lineside have all been proposed as new areas for street trading in the town.

The proposals were discussed late last month by councillors at a strategic service delivery committee meeting at Dungannon council.

Councillors present at the meeting decided to postpone any licensing decisions until they had discussed each area with Coalisland councillors.
