£165K Coalisland business space for sale

A major Coalisland town centre retail space worth £165,000 has gone up for sale.

The 0.23-acre site, located next to the Cornmill in the town centre, comes with full planning permission for a three-storey building comprising four retail units and three office spaces.

It is being put on the market by Tom Henry & Co estate agents, who describe the site as an “ideal investment opportunity…in an area of significant regeneration”.

The retail space plans, first approved in November 2006, show a modern building unlike any architecture seen in Coalisland town centre.

Its four ground-floor shop fronts face onto Main Street, with entrances also available from the Cornmill car park.

A foyer is located towards the centre of the structure, with stairway access to business units on the upper floors.

The plans also show an entirely glass-fronted top floor, giving panoramic views of the town centre.

What do you think of the sale? Would more office and retail units help the town, or would it just add to the several shops already lying vacant? Share your views by commenting below:
