ALCO-ISLAND: Coalisland to get ANOTHER off-licence as pub plans to split bar in two

A popular Coalisland pub is set to transform part of its premises into a new off-licence.

O’Neill’s Bar in the centre of the town plans to create an off-sales area within the premises.

The existing pub will be split into two to create a new section for off-sales, according to planning documents.

The proposals have been submitted to the planning department for approval.

It would be the latest in a number of off-licences currently operating in the town.

Springisland Supermarket has also been given the go-ahead to create its own off-licence.
