Clonoe O’Rahilly’s GFC notes

Events and notices from Clonoe O’Rahilly’s GFC.

Last week’s lotto numbers were 4, 12, 20 and 22. There were no jackpot winners, four matched three numbers; K Kelly, Sean Doris, Owen Duke and Monnie O’Neill. Next’s week’s jackpot is £925.

There was no football last week due to the Tyrone game but the seniors and reservers have a home fixture against our neighbours Coalisland on Wednesday evening. We also have Moortown as visitors on Saturday evening. Watch local press for details.

They said it couldn’t be bettered but it was. Last Saturday night saw the second heats of The Rahooley in the Hall, played to a full house with standing room only the dancers excelled with their dance routines. With MC Leo Quinn doing his Bruce Forsyth routine and Barney Hagan keeping the audience in a dancing mood this was another brilliant night’s entertainment. The club are grateful for the dancers who have put in such an effort to entertain us and it is hearting to see such large crowds being fully appreciated of their efforts. The final takes place on the Saturday 25th June. As there is sure to be a sell out crowd patrons are advised to get your order for tickets in early. Tickets can be bought from Colly O’Neill on 07783505260 – or Oliver Devlin on 07881436041. The winner of the two tickets for the naming of “The Rahooley in the Hall” is Marie Herron.
On Friday the 10th June local girl Francesca McStravock is holding a charity “Take me out with a twist” night. The proceeds from this night are to help Francesca and friends build classrooms for under privileged children in Kenya. This is sure to be a great night’s entertainment and your support will be greatly appreciated.  The starting time for this event will be 8pm.
Anyone interested in playing thirds this year are asked to give their names to Sean McCabe or Don Doris.
The club held a successful U8 tournament on Saturday and the club would like to thank all the managers, referees and the people who made sandwiches for it.
