After weeks of great anticipation the final of The Rahooley in the hall took place last Saturday night and it duly live up to all expectations. With the house full sign up and Stephen O’Neill providing the music and our MC Sean Quinn keeping proceedings going at a brisk pace our dancers brought the house down with their new routines. Like all competitions there can only be one winner, Harry and Lorraine edge out the tough competition to become Rahooley champions of 2011. The club would like to thank all the dancers for the effort and time that they have put in to make this competition the great success that it has been. The club would also like to thank Helen and Brenda for all their hard work. But the biggest thanks of all must go to all our of our patrons who turned out in such great numbers to make the three nights the successes that they were.
