EVENTS

The second formation meeting of the Coalisland Parish pastoral council will take place on Monday, October 10 at 8 pm in the conference room, Parochial Centre.

Cairde Ui Neill Irish-language classes for beginners and intermediate level continue on Monday, October 10, and every Monday, between 7pm and 9pm, at Gaelscoil.

A six-hour course on basic first aid will be held by Coalisland Training Services on Monday, October 10 and Tuesday, October 11, between 6.30pm and 9.30pm.  Cost is £40.

Creative writing classes continue at CRAIC Theatre on Wednesday, October 5 at 7pm. The classes are being taken by published author, Fiona Cassidy.

Coalisland Gaelige League will hold its AGM in the Mill Court Restaurant on Wednesday, October 12, at 8.30pm.

A Coalisland Parish guest tea will be held on Friday, October 14 in the Parochial Centre.  More hostesses prepared to organise a table would be appreciated.  Call Fr Paul on 8774 0221 for details.

Ceili will take place in St Patrick’s Hall on Sunday, October 16, between 8pm and 11pm.

The NI Blood Transfusion Service will hold its next session in the Cornmill Heritage Centre on Friday, October 14, between 2pm and 4pm, and between 5.15pm and 8pm. New and existing donors are required.

Clonoe O’Rahillys are to hold a poker classic on Friday, October 14. All ticket sellers are asked to get their money in as soon as possible.

Irish dance classes with teacher Damian O’Neill are held every Friday at 4.30pm in CRAIC Theatre.

 

NOTICES

Coalisland Learn and Leisure is having a bus trip to Derry on Monday, October 17, leaving the Cornmill at 9.15am sharp, and returning between 5.30pm and 6pm. Those interested should call Ethna on 8774 0951. The fare is £5.

A level-two food safety course will be held at an unconfirmed date by Coalisland Training Services, at a cost of £40. Call 8774 8512 or email [email protected] for more information.

A substantial sum of money found in Supervalu supermarket on Saturday, September 15. The owner should contact Supervalu personally.
