Organisers hope the whole community will take part in the event, to be held on Sunday, October 2 between 2pm and 5pm.
A stage area will also be constructed to showcase local talent. Several shops, businesses and organisations in the town have agreed to submit teams for an “It’s a knockout” competition.
Bouncy castles, pet connection, a magician and face painting are planned for the event.
It is also hoped schools in the area will compete in a mini-GAA tournament.
Representatives from the PSNI, fire service and St John’s Ambulance are to attend the fun day to help engage with the community.
The police are to provide 80% of the funding for the event, while commitment has also been secured from Safe and Well, SureStart, Clonoe Boxing Club and Dungannon council.
