Plans unveiled for new Washing Bay Road housing development
12th October 2011 | By: Coalisland Post | 4 Comments »Plans for a major new housing development on Washing Bay Road containing 34 two-storey homes have been unveiled.
Developers plan to build 28 semi-detached and six detached homes as part of a new estate on a 1.09-hectare site next to Coney Park and School Gardens along Washingbay Road.
The semi-detached houses will contain three bedrooms and two bathrooms, while the detached homes will also have a extra study room.
The reserved matters planning application was submitted to the DOE for approval on Thursday, October 6.
Neighbouring homes were sent details of the plans on Monday, October 11. They will have until Monday, October 24 to submit their views on the proposals, while the overall consultation period will end on Monday, October 31.

Looks like it will be a nicely layed out development, is there an expected finish time for this?
I take it you must have something to do with the sale of the property?
How did this get permission in this day and age. Where’s the play area’s, at least a green for kids. Just looks to be as many houses crammed into the space as possible. Typical developers, at least western sorted out their act with westclare court
