The new publication features a selection of “rants” from Mr McSherry’s weekly column in the Tyrone Herald.

The book launch took place on Thursday, December 8 at CRAIC Theatre. Mr McSherry also launched the book in Belfast today at the Harlequins Rugby Club in the city.

In choosing Mr McSherry as the Columnist of the Year, the judges said: “This winner, as well as being funny and provocative, is able to weave the small details of life in Tyrone, into the bigger national and international issues of the day.”

As reported by Coalisland Post, Blame Game comedian O’Kane has previously joked that he was “traumatised” by the sight of Mr McSherry’s man-boobs.
