Coalisland photographer Oliver Corr has opened a brand new state-of-the-art studio in the town.
His father Frank is a local theatre veteran, making regular appearances in both Coalisland’s CRAIC Theatre and Donaghmore’s Bardic, but 24-year-old Fra Fee has hit the big time in London, starring in Les Miserables, the second West End show of his career. Full story »
It is good enough having a great theatre in our town, but to have a local staging his own play there which one audience member described as “Friel-esque” is something else.
LIVING in a small town like Coalisland has it’s advantages and disadvantages.
I love the sense of community that this place has and the many great friendly people who also live, work and play here.
I however hate its claustrophobic, parochial attitudes that sometimes want to make you scream.
