Third car park entrance for Clonoe chapel

Clonoe chapelAttempting to make a quick exit from Clonoe chapel car park at the end of Mass can be a weekly source of road rage for many motorists – but Fr Benny Fee has a solution to the problem.

The parish priest wants to create a third entrance to Clonoe chapel car park under new proposals.

Planning documents submitted on behalf of Fr Fee show plans to create a new car park entrance further along Cloghog Road.

A third exit from the car park would help relieve the traffic bottleneck created at peak times as busy families try to leave after Mass.

The new entrance would include gates opening into the car park and a new cattle grid, according to plans by Peter Quinn.
